Mt Ruapehu camp

Hi there blogging world, I recently just went on  a school camp. For school camp we went skiing and snow boarding  at Mount Ruapehu. I had so much fun. We also had lots of stops. This slide show contains every detail about my trip please read it through. The challenges of camp were skiing. On the first day I couldn't quite pick it up but on the second day I was whizzing up and down the mountain. There was plenty of other activities to do  on the mountain other then skiing and snowboarding. I also went sight seeing on the chairlift and I went tobogganing. The dinner was also quite yum I loved the lasagna . During the long bus rides me and my friend Joyce learnt the universal alphabet we also made our own alphabets. My name in the universal alphabet is  Delta Oscar Romeo Alpha. Another challenge was getting off the chairlift I fell two times but after I could get off the chairlift properly.

In the process of skiing I fell down a lot and I mean a lot. From my camp experience I learnt to not give up and I learnt to persevere and when I persevered I learnt how to ski.
Please comment down below telling me a time when you had to persevere too Blog ya later

  1. Hi Dora, thanks for the slideshow! Yes, I agree the sightseeing tour was exhilarating but also a bit scary. You certainly demonstrated the 'conduct' expected of you on the trip - as a staff, we were extremely proud of the way Waikowhai Students presented themselves on 'Camp 17'. It was a fabulous trip, and I very much enjoyed being there with you all, experiencing the wonderful environment of Ruapehu.
With regards to your slideshow, it is informative and a good way to look back on positive memories. Maybe rethink Slide 13 - it is coming up blank, is it supposed to?
Thanks again for being a responsible member of the team, you have reflected on your learning well.
    :-)

    1. Hi Miss McGrath thank you for commenting on my blog. Slide 13 was supposed to be empty because it had unneeded things on it so I deleted it but I did not want to ruin my colour scheme so I kept the blank slide. Please reply to my comment telling me what your blog address is so I can also comment on your work too.

  2. What an awesome attitude Dora. The fact that you kept persevering and didn't give up until you could ski is something that you should be very proud of. Your slideshow is very informative and I particularly like your acrostic poem. Thanks for sharing your work with me!
