Dora's thinking hats

These are my thinking hats. For inquiry we made thinking hats based on our reaction to production. In each hat we answered questions about production. So now have a look at my thinking hats feel free to comment down below.

Today we chose another book and did another thinglink about it
We also answered the exact same questions as last time checkout my thing link. This book is about Mr Wolf preparing a birthday party for baby bear, but... When they arrive Goldilocks is there too and she ended up ruining the party but in the end Grandma wolf saved it!
 

Book Review

   

This is my book review for the book I read during the Term 3 holiday for this year. We had to complete 8 tasks all about the book we read. I read a book from the series called Chronicles of Narnia and the book I read is called Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  For the tasks we either had to write a paragraph or create a drawing on sumo paint. I found out a lot of information and we had a lot of fun along the way. I learnt a lot about the author like that C.S Lewis stands for Clive Staples Lewis . I think I did a very good job because I was away for a few weeks and I did a very good job on catching up with the rest of the class. The part I enjoyed doing the most was finding interesting information about the author.

Reading

For reading we chose a book to read for 15 mins check out my thing-link about the book I chose. On my thing link I answered questions about my book.

cybersmart games

This activity is about how to hold a chrome-book. You had to write two ways to hold a chrome-book  and then put a screen shot of on of the ways.

For Cyber-smart  James made a game to help us review what we have learnt this year so far. To play the game you need a dice but luckily there is a digital dice at the bottom of the page the wires are snakes. But, James forgot to put on ladders. Each square has a button and each button is a link to an activity. But, only the numbers don't have a link.

bean rock

This document is about answering questions about the book bean-rock lighthouse book. The lighthouse was built in the year 1870. It is a wave washed lighthouse. At the moment there is no lighthouse keeper because it automatically lights up. It is the only wave washed lighthouse in New Zealand. I hope you find this lighthouse as interesting as I find it.

My abstract art process

This slide show is about the process to making abstract art you can also create a piece of abstract art if you want to. I hope you find this helpful maybe you could create the same piece of art. This idea was totally created by our teacher. So you can just scroll through and you will find that this is actually a really fun piece                 of art to do. You can choose to even do it on a small piece of paper or canvas.

Comment Correcting

For cyber smart this week we did commenting.We had to find  a comment that is average and turn in to a helpful positive and nice comment. To do that we added our name and greeted them in a different language. We also asked a question and tried to make a connection with the blogger. At the end of our comment we added a link to something that relates to the post and we left a link to our own learning blog as well. Lastly we ended our comment with 'blog you later' and said our name but remember only put your first name and not your last name.

Commenting like a pro

This is on my blog because for cyber-smart smart we learnt about writing a good blog comment. So this is a pad-let about what a good quality blog comment should include e.g Questions, punctuation, first name only etc. I think the most important thing to do when you are commenting is to make connections and ask questions so you can build a conversation. Remember to read through your comment before posting it. My list is under the name 'Dora'.

Before and after blog post comparison

For cyber smart we had to pick a post then take a screenshot and place it in the before section afterwards you need to edit the post and change it then take a screen shot and put it in the after section.

Green wall being taken down

In the last week term my teacher asked everyone to write about something so, write about the green wall being taken down

Bang! Crash! Clang!
As I peeked through the curtain of my class room, I saw the green wall collapsing down. The green wall was being taken down because our new classrooms will be replacing it. When the builders had finished, the empty space looked really plain but soon the new class rooms will be there.

Wild And Wacky Wheels Day

    Wild And Wacky Wheels Way

On Friday Waikowhai Primary School had a wild and wacky wheels day; everybody dressed up in something wild or wacky. Even the teachers dressed up! There were games, cars and trolleys for the people with no wheels. There was also a bike trail, scooter track, stilts, moon hoppers and more.

I chased my friends on my scooter and the teachers all had a turn on my friends electric scooter. By lunch time I was very hungry but luckily I had ordered an american hot dog. 

When the bell rang I raced home I was so excited to tell my family all about it.

24 hour digital foot print

I am on YouTube the most because I like to watch lots of videos and movies that I can find.
I am on Google a lot because every time I press new tab it shows up as Google in my history and I also search up a lot of things on Google like recipes.
I think that it wouldn't be better for me to do it at home because I already have a lot of home work to do at home.
