De bono thinking

๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฌ Hey everyone this is a special post๐Ÿ‘‘These are my De Bono thinking hats. My thinking hats are about how I feel in my new classroom also known as an I.L.E. I love my new classroom and everything in it I share a large classroom with 75 other people our giant classroom has 4 classrooms in  it , my classroom is the biggest.๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“  Our I.L.E is called Te Waka Ako,  that means the canoe of learning. The four different classrooms are named after places with water the names are Hauraki, Waitemata and Manakau. We also had a opening ceremony Michael Wood the MP of Mt Roskill cut the ribbon it was all very grand๐ŸŽ€✂๐Ÿ’.

It is very challenging to hear when there are 50 other students doing something else. It was actually easier to  write the negative thinks. It was kind of sad to leave our old classroom. But all in all the hats were easy to fill in because I had mixed feelings Here is a link so you can learn more about hats. Here is the link and some photos.

Fatu Feu'u inspried art work

This is my artwork. In this work we put all our symbols in and wrote the meanings and reasons for them. Hope you enjoy my work feel free to comment below. I really like the colour balance throughout my work. The process of the work was long, First we had to rule our lines and we had to have a very exact measurement. Then we drew out the patterns we planned in our book. After that we painted over we had to do a few coats to make it look very strong. I really love my work.
My Painting inspired by Fatu Feu’u.

Anzac experience

For writing we had to write what we did on Anzac day. I forgot what I did on Anzac day so I wrote about what I did the Tuesday before that. In this piece of writing I wrote about a girls camp that I went to. I thought it was really fun. Please comment down below what you thought about my work.

Girls camp

“Wake up Mum!”
Today was the day, not just Anzac day but the day I leave for to go to my first ever girls camp. The girls camp is in Ararimu.

My mum helped me load my luggage into my sister's car. As soon as I got there I got on to the bus.

On the bus I sat alone behind my two friends Tessa and Kaleigh. On the opposite side of my seat sat some older girls that were having a funny conversation about ASMR and I couldn’t help but tune in.

When we got to the camp the leaders finally revealed our theme and our theme was Amtrak which is a train company. But before we boarded our train we had a customs table and it was hilarious, the leaders purposely put things that aren’t allowed in camp in some people’s bags and it was hilarious what was found.

When we found what cabins we are in (Because the theme is train our cabins were called carriages.) the first thing we did was unpack and meet our hut 'Bosons' and leaders. Then we started our adventure.

In L.A it is famous for lots of things and one of them is Disneyland. For the first half of the afternoon we did fun Disney quizzes and for the other half we had rotations. We did the rotations in our carriages.

The first activity we went to was a bungee game. What you do is there is a big harness and ropes holding you back but you have to go as far as you can with the ropes pulling you back. It was funny because so people slid back on the floor.

The next activity was one of the best we played it against another team. For this game there is two ropes and two boats each team has to pick one or two people to get in the boat. The other people had to split and stand on either side of the pool and pull the rope so the boat can move the aim of the game is to knock the other team off their boat. Our team won!!

After a bunch more activities we finally had dinner and supper then went to sleep in our cabins.

The smell of gunpowder and mucky stew fills the air. The gunpowder has a very strong scent.

I can feel ticks and lice tickling and itching me from the inside already.
The itching is unbearable. My army uniform hasn’t been washed. I am not used to being at war. I’ve only been at war for three days and already I have to itch nearly every second so dangerous that I’m scared that just because I’m itching I get killed.

I feel home sick and scared because the conditions of these trenches are just awful I try to keep my feet on dry ground so my feet aren’t in the wet for too long so I can hopefully survive this awful war and hopefully not get sick.

I really hope I don’t get killed. I really don't know how long this exciting and terrifying adventure will take all I know is that
I wish I never signed up for this. Hopefully I’ll come back as a hero who fought for their country. This is really  no man’s land.
In celebration of Anzac Day, we wrote diaries using our senses. We pretended that we were new soldiers that have been at war for three days. Have a look at my work. Writing this work was fun because you had to think back to war even though I wasn't alive then. Feel free to comment what you think about my trench diary.
